This wine has straw-gold color with fruity aromas of apple and apricot with cinnamon spice and vanilla. On the palate, it has lively acidity and a round, creamy texture. Filled with flavors of dried apricot, nectarine and barrel spice with a soft, silky finish.
Food Recommendation: This Chardonnay blends the forward fruit flavors of fresh pears, ripe peaches and apricot making this the perfect wine to serve with grilled chicken breast pasta salad, roasted red snapper with sprigs of rosemary or grilled pork loin. Shaved Reggiano parmesan and pesto over your favorite pasta is also an ideal companion to this wine.
Winemaker's Notes: The quality of the 2010 vintage is outstanding and this wine is a good example! We choose fruit from warm growing areas which give us flavors of baked apple and pear as well as cooler vineyard sites for fresh citrus and nectarine character.
